The door already knows who came in
Many sites already control the door with cards. Asking people to tap the door and then clock in again is twice the work for the same fact. LoggerIQ takes the tap from the reader and records it as the clock entry.

Register the reader
An admin registers each reader for a site and gets a token for it, shown once.
Assign cards
Give each person their card number and keep a pool of numbered visitor passes.
Taps arrive
The reader or your access-control system sends each tap with the card, direction and time.
Recorded or refused
A staff card becomes a clock entry. Unknown, lost, expired or wrong-site cards are refused and the refusal is recorded.
