How we calculate

The arithmetic, in full

  1. Manager hours per month = sites, times minutes per week on timesheets, times 52 weeks, divided by 12 months and by 60 minutes. One manager signs off each site or crew.
  2. Hours reclaimed = manager hours times the reclaimed share (default 60%). Clean rows clear themselves on Pro, so most of the checking and chasing goes.
  3. Value of reclaimed time = hours reclaimed times the average hourly rate. We use the same rate for managers, which is conservative.
  4. Monthly payroll = people, times the average hourly rate, times 38 hours a week, times 52 weeks, divided by 12 months.
  5. Leakage avoided = monthly payroll times the leakage share (default 2%). Leakage means rounded punches, early clock-ins, clock-ins from off site and re-keying errors.
  6. LoggerIQ cost = people times A$3 on Team or A$5 on Pro, per month, ex GST. Free covers up to 5 people on 1 site at A$0.
  7. Net = value of reclaimed time plus leakage avoided, minus the LoggerIQ cost. It is an estimate from your inputs, not a guarantee.
