A timestamp says when, not where
A plain time clock records that someone tapped a button. It does not know whether they were at the site, in the car park or at home. LoggerIQ checks each clock in against the site boundary and keeps the distance on the record, so a question about an hour is answered by the record rather than by memory.
In four steps
Draw the site
Set the centre and a radius from 25 m to 2 km (150 m by default). People can be limited to the sites they work at.
Clock in on site
The app checks the location against the boundary and stores the distance from the centre.
Outside the boundary
An off-site clock in is refused unless there is an approved off-site request for today or the device is on a recognised site network.
Recognised networks
An admin can name a site’s network by its address range, so a weak indoor location fix does not block an honest clock in.
