What you get, what you pay and who gets billed
The LoggerIQ column is what ships today. The Tanda column is what Tanda's own pages say, each with a numbered source at the foot of the page. Where they are ahead, the row says so.

The honest read
Where Tanda is ahead, where LoggerIQ is and why.
Tanda does something LoggerIQ cannot do in Australia today: it runs payroll, with pay runs straight from timesheets and Single Touch Payroll filing, inside the same bundle as rostering and HR. It also has an employee mobile app in the stores and hosts Australian accounts in Australia. If you want one bill that covers payroll as well, Tanda's bundle does that and ours does not.
Billing works differently. Tanda counts every profile that was active at any point in the month. A profile still being invited or onboarded counts. Annual plans cannot be cancelled partway through and a monthly plan needs a calendar month's notice. The billing rows above put that beside our seat rules.
On awards, Tanda offers modern award templates; LoggerIQ interprets 11 modern awards and prints the clause behind each pay line. Tanda does not publish a list of its templates, so if your award is outside our 11 ask both of us before you choose.
What 25 people cost a month
The bundle is the only Tanda price published. It includes payroll, which LoggerIQ does not. Without payroll the honest comparison needs a module quote from Tanda.
Who takes a paid seat at LoggerIQ and who does not:
- Workers: billed. Anyone who clocks in, takes a shift or submits a request is a seat.
- Kiosk-only workers: billed. Someone who only ever clocks in at a shared kiosk still counts, because their hours are kept and paid like everyone else's.
- Managers and admins: billed. People who run rosters and approve hours are seats too.
- Pending invites: free. Someone you have invited or imported costs nothing until they accept and join.
- Leavers: free. When someone leaves, their seat stops. Their records stay, at no charge, for as long as the law asks you to keep them.
- Auditors: free. Read-only access with an end date for your auditor costs nothing.

Moving from Tanda
There is no Tanda preset yet. LoggerIQ reads any CSV and matches common column names such as Employee ID, Location and Start time automatically; you confirm or change each column before anything is written.
