Award pay, line by line

Eight modern awards priced shift by shift, with the clause on every line.

Pick your award and classify your people. Each shift is sliced at every penalty boundary and priced at the award’s own percentage and each person can read the working for their own week.

US$5 per user per month, tax included. 30-day free trial.

A Saturday night casual shift is priced line by line, each line with its award clause and the total settles.
The problem

A weekend multiplier is not an award

Award pay turns on details: hours after midnight are the next day’s rate, the casual loading is already inside the published percentage, an unpaid break comes out of the right band. Get one wrong and the shift is wrong by an amount a worker can see. The award engine prices each slice at its own rate and cites the clause, so the working can be checked.

How it works

In four steps

  1. Choose the award

Hospitality, Retail, Fast Food, Cleaning, Security, Restaurant, Clubs, SCHADS, Hair and Beauty, Aged Care and Nurses.

  2. Classify each person

Classification, employment type and junior rates where they apply.

  3. Priced by the band

Penalty rates, overtime against the award’s daily and weekly limits, casual loading, minimum engagement and missed breaks, each its own line.

  4. Read the working

Each person sees their own week line by line, with the clause behind each figure.

Outcomes

What you get

  • Shifts priced at the award’s own percentages, clause by clause
  • Overtime, weekend and public holiday rates as separate lines
  • Roster cost priced by the award where it is set up
  • A list of what the engine does not apply, said out loud
