The honest read

Where Connecteam is ahead, where LoggerIQ is and why.

For a team under 30, Connecteam can cost less than LoggerIQ: one hub is a flat monthly fee up to 30 users. A free plan covers up to 10 users with every hub. Its apps are in the stores, its kiosk works on a shared device with a PIN and it has team chat and training that LoggerIQ does not.

For an Australian business the gaps are award interpretation, which Connecteam's own pages do not list, plus payroll. Connecteam does not run payroll itself: it hands hours to Xero or MYOB. E-signature is capped by plan. You pay for seats rather than people, so archiving someone does not lower the bill until the seat is removed. Data is held in the European Union and prices are in US dollars only.

Worked example

What 25 people cost a month

At 25 people Connecteam is cheaper on price. Above 30 users each extra person is billed per hub. Award interpretation is not part of either Connecteam figure.

Who takes a paid seat at LoggerIQ and who does not:

  • Workers: billed. Anyone who clocks in, takes a shift or submits a request is a seat.
  • Kiosk-only workers: billed. Someone who only ever clocks in at a shared kiosk still counts, because their hours are kept and paid like everyone else's.
  • Managers and admins: billed. People who run rosters and approve hours are seats too.
  • Pending invites: free. Someone you have invited or imported costs nothing until they accept and join.
  • Leavers: free. When someone leaves, their seat stops. Their records stay, at no charge, for as long as the law asks you to keep them.
  • Auditors: free. Read-only access with an end date for your auditor costs nothing.
